Deep Relaxation Visits

While my work in general is very relaxing, a session with this focus allows for a deeper relaxation than the usual Evaluation & Treatment visit.

I use mostly CranioSacral Therapy and Lymphatic Therapy during these sessions.  There’s not much talking, unless you’d like a little Guided Imagery to help you settle in.

These therapies are deeply nurturing and  therapeutic in the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual realms.  They are done with a very light touch, and it’s not uncommon for clients to have a much needed nap.

My focus is on improving the function of your Cranial-Sacral system and your Lymphatic system. This work goes way beyond the average massage in it’s scope and depth.

Both therapies stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system (relaxation,  and digestion) and relax the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight).  They also stimulate and support the immune system.

The work keeps “working” for 24-48 hours after the session, and is excellent for stress-reduction.

It’s a deeply therapeutic mini-vacation.  There’s nothing for you to do except relax, rest and receive – while all that good therapy is happening!

While amenable to a 30-minute visit, I’d recommend a full hour to really get the benefit.

Even though my office space is quiet and peaceful, Deep Relaxation sessions are also great for home visits.
